Since starting my healthy journey, working out has since turned into a type of therapy for me; as well as being a HUGE lifestyle change. I could not imagine a week where I don’t workout, it’s crazy right?! It helps with all the everyday stresses, whilst also having the added health benefits and also helping me meet my weight loss goals.
Sometimes though, its impossible to fit a full weightlifting workout in to my day, or even hit the gym. In these times I need quick but effective routine that I can do anywhere; so I have created this simple but effective bodyweight cardio routine to do!
I recently qualified as a Personal Trainer (hip hip hooray!) and have been SO excited to start creating routines and workouts! This is the first routine I have created since qualifying and I am so excited to share it on my blog today! It’s a high intensity bodyweight cardio circuit, so prepare to sweat!
This routine is designed to be completed 3-5 times depending on your fitness levels. Do each exercise for 30 seconds with a 10 second rest period in-between each exercise. Go as hard and fast as you can with proper form and technique to really get that heart rate up! The best thing about this routine is that mixes it up so you won’t get bored.
- High Knees
- Jumping Jacks
- Glute Bridge
- Wall Sit
- Squat Jump
Once you have done all the exercises once, have 1-2minutes rest and complete the circuit again. Continue this routine until you completed the workout 3-5 times! The best thing about this workout is one round is complete in 7 minutes! How amazing is that! So there is no excuses that we can’t fit that workout in!
Thanks to Bodyform I have been able to complete this workout with not only a sweat, but with confidence too. I didn’t have to waste any extra energy on worrying if my freshness was questionable or if my white liner was showing through my leggings when smashing my squats and got to use all my energy instead burning fat and working hard.
Bodyform Black Liners
When Bodyform got in touch about their new black liners, I jumped at the chance of putting them through their paces and thought this workout would be the perfect opportunity. Let’s all be honest, the fear of anyone noticing your bright white liner in your feel-good black knickers is real. Its crazy to think how this hasn’t been thought of before tbh, with black knickers being a lot more popular. I’m not really sure why, but nothing makes me feel more confident than a matching set of black bra and pants, and thats instantly ruined when I use a noticeably white liner. Why shouldn’t I be able to workout in my black undies to feel good?!
‘Their unique CurveFit shape, which is wider at the front and slimmer at the neck, ensures each Bodyform Daily Fresh Black Liner is flexible enough to mould to the curves of your body so that they stay securely in place. Every liner is also breathable, like cotton underwear for maximum comfort. Bodyform Black liners offer all-day freshness with the ultimate discretion.’
Bodyform Black Liners are available from all UK Supermarkets and you can find out more about Bodyform here.
